At Oratory Prep, we are committed to keeping our school community informed, connected, and engaged through proactive, timely, and positive communications with faculty and staff, students, parents and guardians, local municipalities, and the media.
Communications Policies & Procedures
Announcement and Flyer Distribution (External Parties)
Our daily announcements submission and approval process is in place from late August through the end of the school year in early June. We do not send the daily newsletter during the summer months or on school holidays.
- Oratory Prep considers requests for promoting community activities and organizations that are relevant to our families. We do not distribute paper flyers/promotional materials, post signage, share families' contact information, or use school social media to promote community organizations.
- Interested organizations should submit requests to the Director of Communications via email.
- Requests will be considered and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- Approved announcements/digital fliers will be distributed via our daily newsletter.
If approved, announcements received before noon on Monday through Friday will be shared on the next school day.
Announcements (Internal Parties)
- Faculty, staff, coaches, and parents may use the announcement request form to submit announcements for the daily email.
- Please submit requests Monday through Friday before noon for publishing on the following school day. Any applicable special deadlines, such as before a holiday, will be noted on the submission form.
Media Guidelines
Oratory Prep recognizes the importance and benefit of positive relationships with the media. We strive to ensure that media coverage is an accurate reflection of our students, staff, and official position and does not disrupt the education process. Any media requests should be submitted by email to the Director of Communications for review and consideration. For media and general inquiries, contact [email protected].
