After completion of the online application and payment, you will have access to your son’s checklist, which contains the following material that needs to be submitted:

  • A transcript release form to be given to your son’s school for the transcripts from the last two years, including standardized testing.
  • A transcript release form to be given to your son's school for the first marking period grades of the current school year.
  • English Teacher Recommendation Form (after the first marking period).
  • Math Teacher Recommendation Form (after the first marking period).
  • Principal or Guidance Counselor Recommendation Form (after the first marking period).

If your son has undergone evaluation by a child study team, independent consultant, or other diagnostician, we encourage you to share copies of the most recent test reports and plan, if applicable.
After completion of the online application, please call the Office of Admissions to schedule your son’s “student for a day” visit. Oratory will begin accepting visitors mid-September. Prior to visiting campus, applicants must submit a Visitor Form.
Applicant interviews are typically conducted during the “student-for-a-day” visit, or can be scheduled as a remote appointment at your convenience. Oratory will begin scheduling in mid-September.
Parent conferences are typically conducted on the same day as the “student-for-a-day” visit, or can be scheduled as a remote appointment at your convenience. Oratory will begin scheduling in mid-September.
**If you are applying to multiple schools, please review all exam schedules and calendar your time to avoid conflicts.
