Cum Laude Society

In the Spring of 2016, the Newman Chapter of the Cum Laude Society was established at Oratory Prep and shortly thereafter inducted a number of Charter Members representing Oratory Prep alumni, faculty, and staff plus our first student members from the Class of 2017.

Founded in 1906, the Cum Laude Society is an international organization that honors superior scholastic achievement by students in secondary schools. Students are selected for membership based on the cumulative grade point average achieved over their first three years at Oratory Prep with no more than 10 percent of the class chosen during the junior year. The Cum Laude Society embodies Oratory Prep's commitment to our student body's quest for Academic Excellence. Members from the Class of 2024 include:
