Peer Mentor Program
The Oratory Prep Peer Mentoring Program fosters a smooth transition into life at OP for new students by pairing them with supportive upperclassmen mentors. Through guidance and encouragement, the program helps build connections and confidence during a student’s first year. Mentors provide valuable insight, experience, and a strong sense of community.
Our peer mentors are recognized as campus leaders who are reliable, dedicated, and trustworthy. They are selected through a comprehensive application process that includes specific requirements, written essays, an interview, and teacher recommendations—ensuring they embody the core values of Oratory Prep. Once selected, mentors receive training to develop their leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
Throughout the school year, mentors meet regularly with their mentees to offer academic advice, encourage extracurricular involvement, and strengthen the OP Brotherhood. The Peer Mentoring Program not only supports new students, but also allows mentors to grow personally as role models and ambassadors of the school’s mission.
