Middle School Academics

Because students of this age are maturing and learning about themselves in unique ways as they prepare for high school, our teachers and a member of our Guidance staff are focused on supporting our Middle School students with individual attention.

The Middle School academic program at Oratory Prep is designed to give students in grades 7 and 8 a strong foundation for success in high school and beyond. During these important years, students are challenged to develop strong study habits, critical thinking skills, personal responsibility, and classroom confidence.

Faculty, staff, and administrators work closely with students and families to help each boy adjust to OP’s academic expectations, manage his schedule, and grow as an independent learner. Middle School students are prepared not only for the demands of high school but also for the broader qualities of scholarship, leadership, and integrity that are the basis of the Oratory experience.
