Student for a Day

The Student for a Day program is a wonderful opportunity for prospective students to experience the Oratory Prep Brotherhood firsthand. Beginning March 2, current 7th grade students interested in applying for admission to the 9th grade for the 2027–2028 school year are invited to participate.

Visitors should arrive at DeGaeta Hall at 8 a.m. and will be picked up at the same location at 2 p.m.

Lunch will be provided, though visitors are welcome to bring their own if preferred.

Students should wear dress pants or khaki pants with a belt, along with a polo shirt or button-down shirt. Dress shoes or sneakers are permitted. Sweatshirts and hooded shirts are not allowed, though quarter-zips are acceptable. As visitors will travel between campus buildings, weather-appropriate outerwear is recommended.

When scheduling their visit, students may request a current OP student to serve as their host for the day. If they do not know a current student, we will pair them with one of our ambassadors who shares similar academic and extracurricular interests.
