Eighth grader Brandon Franks was recently awarded a Silver Key Scholastic Award for his magnificent Raku pottery named Black Sea. Congratulations Brandon!

Senior John Spitznagel, of Summit, scored the 100th point of his high school hockey career on Monday in a game against St. Rose.

On Friday, January 18, Oratory Prep will be on a two-hour Delayed opening. All students should report to school by 10 AM. All buses and shuttles will run on a two hour delayed schedule. Please drive carefully.

Junior Jeff Jarvis got the 100th point of his high school hockey career on Sunday night in a matchup against Bayonne. He is the first player in the program's history to achieve this distinction.

OP hockey won their bracket's championship in the Essex Holiday Tournament after going 3-0 and out scoring opponents 18 to 7. The team picked up wins over Pascack Valley, Parsippany and Mendham. Great job by all the players.

At the Consortium Spelling Bee today, 7th Grader Michael Pasnik took 3rd place for JV and 8th Grader Quinn Boylan took 3rd place for Varsity. Congrats boys!

Freshman Jake De Guzman competed in the World Poomsae Championships last month. He is bringing back a Silver Medal for Team USA in freestyle mixed team under 17 years old. There were over 59 countries competing in the competition, the largest Taekwondo Championship ever. This was the best finish ever for Team USA in this division.
