The Oratory Prep Fishing Club set out for a day on the open water in search of striped bass—and they weren’t disappointed. Under clear skies and calm seas, the crew reeled in an impressive haul, with every fish measuring over 38 inches before being safely released back into the ocean.
Top anglers included Kevin Bernstein ’26 and brothers Gavin and Andrew, who each landed two striped bass, while Luke and Caylor Mendez ’26 each brought in one. It was a day filled with great catches, even better company, and lasting memories.
Special thanks to everyone who joined in for a perfect fall outing of fun, friendship, and fishing. Looking ahead, Mr. Van Hoven is already planning a Father/Son saltwater trip this spring, so keep an eye out for more details!
