On September 17, Connor Daugherty and Joanne Finnen hit the road for a two-day alumni tour through Washington, D.C. and Richmond — reconnecting with 14 incredible Rams along the way!
Their first stop was the nation’s capital, where they caught up with several young alumni making their mark. Thomas Paone ’03 is now a curator at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, while Christopher Cowell ’23 and Cristian Simms ’22 are both finishing their studies at Howard University this spring — with jobs already lined up after graduation.
The visit to D.C. concluded with an evening of fellowship and fun hosted by Jim McGreevy ’82, where alumni including Chris Kraft ’11, John Antokas, William Heffernan ’21, Michael Viggiano ’21, Christopher Hutchinson ’16, and Cam MaGee ’16 came together to share stories, laughter, and memories — celebrating the enduring strength of the Oratory Brotherhood.
The next stop: Richmond! There, Connor and Joanne met Michael Drew ’85 bright and early outside the building where he was about to give a presentation — proof that OP Rams are always on the move. They also reconnected with Tom Conroy ’78, who shared humorous memories from his Oratory days, and Brian Delfs ’14, who reflected on his path from Seton Hall University to a thriving career in the insurance industry.
The trip was a reminder that no matter where life takes our alumni, the spirit of Oratory Prep continues to unite Rams across generations and state lines. ✝️🐏
