With an impressive background as both a player and coach, Coach Murray brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion to our baseball program—qualities that will elevate the Rams on and off the field.
A standout athlete, Coach Murray was a high school All-American at Westfield before going on to a four-year collegiate career at Wake Forest University, where he served as a starting pitcher and team captain. He also played professionally within the San Francisco Giants organization. These experiences have refined Coach Murray’s skills and deepened his understanding of the game at the highest level.
Coach Murray has spent the past eight seasons as the Head Baseball Coach at Saint Joseph High School in Metuchen, where he led the program to multiple championship titles and consistent winning records. His experience developing student-athletes and building competitive, values-driven teams aligns perfectly with the mission and spirit of Oratory Prep.
