Ms. Alyssa Monturi

Alyssa G. Monturi started her career at Oratory Prep as an Italian Language Teacher in the 2025-2026 school year. 

 

Alyssa previously was at Morristown High School teaching Italian 1-3, and prior to that utilized the language as a Restaurant Sommelier at Marta, and Babbo in New York City, as a Wine Sales Representative for Golden Ram Imports, and a Wine Marketing specialist at Vias Imports, Ltd. She brings with her 15+ years of professional experience utilizing Italian language and has decided to bring her language expertise to the classroom.  She created an Italian Guide that references technical grammar rules and examples to help both students and adults, and is passionate about introducing students to ‘La bellezza della cultura italiana.’ 

 

She graduated from St. John’s University in 2008 with a double B.A. in Italian Language and French Language and continued to pursue her M.A. in Social Justice.
