Guidance & College Counseling

At Oratory Prep, our counseling program supports the whole student through academic guidance, social-emotional support, self-advocacy, and college readiness. Our goal is to help each young man feel known, supported, and prepared to grow with confidence during his time at OP.

 

Our Guidance and Counseling team provides individualized attention, regular check-ins, academic support, and personal guidance to students. Counselors help students monitor progress, set goals, navigate challenges, and take an active role in their own success both in and out of the classroom.

 

As students move through Upper School, the process expands to include college and post-secondary planning. Through an individualized and collaborative approach, our College Counseling Office helps students and families explore options, build balanced college lists, manage applications and deadlines, and identify schools that are a strong fit for each student’s goals and interests.

 

Together, our Guidance and College Counseling teams provide steady support at every stage, helping students feel connected to the OP Brotherhood while preparing thoughtfully for life beyond Oratory.
