As a Catholic boys’ school of nearly 400 young men in grades 7 through 12, OP delivers an exemplary education in a tight-knit community. Our emphasis is on preparing our young men to become exceptional leaders, thinkers, and men of faith and action. Our staff takes pride in challenging and caring for every student. National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalist

We are proud to announce that OP senior Chris Rose has been recognized as a Semifinalist in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program. Approximately 16,000 high scorers on the PSAT/NMSQT are chosen, representing less than 1 percent of the nation's high school graduating seniors. To put it in perspective, in the state of New Jersey, we have 499 semifinalists representing 122 high schools. Chris now has the opportunity to advance in the competition to Finalist standing and will then be eligible for some 7,500 Merit Scholarship awards. Congratulations Chris, and best of luck throughout the competition!
