This spring, Oratory Prep alumni gathered on both coasts to reconnect, strengthen friendships, and celebrate the lifelong bond of the OP brotherhood.
On May 7, members of the Alumni Office traveled to Boston for a full day of alumni events and fellowship. The day began with a visit to Boston College, where they spent time with several younger OP alumni currently attending the university. Even during the busy final exam period, the students graciously made time to gather, share updates, and reflect on their transition from OP to college life. It was a meaningful reminder of how the Oratory brotherhood continues well beyond graduation.
That evening, alumni from across the decades gathered in Boston’s Back Bay for The Oratory Alumni Club of Boston event, graciously hosted by Michael Thomas ’78 and his wife, Mary. Surrounded by beautiful city views, alumni enjoyed an evening of conversation, laughter, and reconnecting with both familiar faces and new members of the OP network living in the Boston area.
On the evening of May 19, the spirit of our Ram brotherhood was just as strong in Colorado, where alumni gathered at The Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar for a Denver-area alumni club get-together. A special thank you to Peter Williams ’75, who took the lead in organizing the event and personally reached out to Rams throughout the Denver area to invite them to the gathering. Thanks to his efforts, alumni from different graduating classes came together, reconnected, and strengthened the bonds that make the Oratory Prep community so special.
Whether in Boston or Colorado, these gatherings are a meaningful reminder that no matter where life takes our alumni, the OP brotherhood, built through a shared experience, remains strong.
