After a few years away, the Oratory Prep Alumni Soccer Event made a successful return to Cavalero Field, bringing together Rams from across the decades for an afternoon filled with competition, camaraderie, and reconnecting.
From the moment the cleats were laced up — and for some, dusted off — the energy and enthusiasm were undeniable! Alumni split into two Brotherly squads, with younger graduates facing off against more seasoned veterans in a spirited and friendly match at the center of campus. While the competition on the field was lively, the real highlight came after the final whistle, as conversations quickly turned to favorite teachers, memorable coaches, graduation years, and stories from their days on the OP Soccer team.
The gathering was just as much a family event as it was an alumni reunion. Many alumni brought their wives and children to enjoy the beautiful weather, with the kids running the field and cheering on their dads from the sidelines.
Judging by the turnout and excitement, this tradition is officially back. Be sure to save the date for next year’s match on May 15, 2027!
