Year after year, December seems to fly by, and this one was no exception. With the shortest stretch possible between Thanksgiving and Christmas, the season moved especially fast, yet we still found time to host one of the most joyful events of the year: Merry Christmas at Oratory.
This celebration has become a bright spot in an otherwise hectic time of year. Anything involving children brings instant energy and joy, and this morning certainly delivered. Twenty young families gathered for the festivities, which began with a family Mass and continued with breakfast, photos with Santa, and plenty of Christmas-themed activities.
And then came the highlight: the indoor snowball fight! Although the registration list had 40 children in attendance, it was more like 70 racing around DeGaeta Gym with their “young at heart” parents and grandparents joining in! Hearing the laughter and excitement of the youngest members of our Ram family was the perfect reminder of what makes this season so special.
