Third Annual Rally for the Rams: A Monumental Success

Rally for the Rams Day of Giving returned for its third installment this year, under the direction of the Office of Advancement at Oratory Prep. With the leadership and guidance of Director of Advancement Kevin Donnelly and Associate Director of Development Operations Marybeth Ream, the OP Advancement team spearheaded this year's 24-hour online campaign which resulted in an all-time high fundraising total of a whopping $118,138. By all measures, the Rally event has exceeded the team's expectations as it grows year after year, an outcome only made possible by the ongoing and unwavering support of Oratory's alumni, families, and friends who continue to answer the call.

When announcing the event results, Mr. Donnelly cited increased alumni engagement, as well as the "awe-inspiring" generosity and commitment of current families, faculty, and staff as catalysts for Rally's success, emphasizing that every dollar captured helps Oratory to reach new heights and positions the school for great things moving forward. In his words, "the team rallied, and Oratory is better off for it." The money raised in this 24-hour timeframe has an immediate impact: funds go towards supporting student programs, technology, and facility improvements.

In particular, Oratory wishes to thank the sponsors of its three challenge match donations: the McTernan Family P‘19 ’21, the Mezzomo Family P ’17’18, the Franks Family P’23, and Joseph Chiarello II ‘90 and his wife Gina. Many thanks to the extended OP community for their ongoing support of Oratory's mission and vision.
