PARENTS’ GUILD ANNUAL EVENTS
The men of Oratory Prep gather to celebrate our faith with a Communion Breakfast. After Mass is celebrated in the gym, a delicious breakfast is served. This is an ideal opportunity for fellowship and camaraderie.
Fall Fashion Show
The Fashion Show includes a beautiful Gift Basket Auction, a chance to shop at selectively chosen boutiques, a Grand Raffle with exquisite prizes, and a delectable luncheon followed by a Fashion Show featuring the Class of 2019. For further information on attending the Fashion Show email OPfashionshow@oratoryprep.org.
OPPG Christmas Party
This is a lovely evening for the parents of Oratory Prep students, faculty and staff. The Parents' Guild organizes this annual event at the beautiful Beacon Hill Club in Summit to give us all an opportunity to come together and celebrate the Christmas holiday season.
An event for mothers and sons to enjoy some quality time together, this event tends to be very popular! We've had great fun at Bowling Night in recent years. Stay tuned!
Ram Day/Habitat for Humanity
Ram Day, typically held in the spring, is an Oratory Prep Family Community Day. Parents, students and family members are welcome to participate in this event. Junior & Senior Boys partner with Habitat for Humanity for a day of Service building/repairing homes within the Community. Watch for more details ahead regarding Ram Day.
On March 29, 2020, we will celebrate our Family Mass in the gym. This is the day the entire Oratory Prep community comes together and participates in a liturgy reflective of the Oratory spirit and faith. Students, parents, siblings and special guests then partake in a sumptuous breakfast.
Come join us to raise your glass, raise money for our great school, and raise the roof with a terrific band at the Oratory Prep Spring Gala. The entire Oratory Prep community will come together to enjoy each other's company, an open bar, fantastic food, amazing silent auction items, raffles, and a grand 50/50. We hope to see you there dressed to impress!
Enrichment Grant Program
The Parents' Guild provides two kinds of grants to Faculty and Administration during the school year: Mini Grants and Yearly Grants. In addition, OP students can apply for a grant for the purpose of implementing a new innovative idea that would enhance and/or improve the OP community.
Community Food Bank Service Project
The Parents' Guild organizes a service project, in addition to the other wonderful service projects managed by our campus ministry organization, where our boys have the opportunity to help stock shelves and serve at a local community food bank. Parents are welcome to join us!
Getting involved and volunteering your time to the Parents’ Guild is a great way to meet other Oratory Prep parents and a great way to help support your son’s school.
