3-on-3 Basketball Tournament & Bench-Off:
What a great turnout on Saturday, June 9th for our Annual Bill Haley Scholarship Basketball Tournament and Bench Off. The gym was filled with alumni competing to be the champs. After very competitive and grueling games, the team consisting of Richard Immossi '17, Alex Sansano '17, Christian Graham '09, and Kassim Kaba were the victors. The new Bench Off champ is Michael Hoffman '80 with 20 reps. Thank you to all who supported this event, making the 3-on-3 Basketball and Bench Off a great Oratory tradition!
Young Alumni Golf Outing:
Rain did not keep this group from getting in a round of golf on Sunday, June 10th! Several alumni attended the event. The golfers were able to improve their game, while catching up with fellow alums.
Cards & Beer Night:
Our first annual Cards and Beer night turned out great. Some of the attendees even learned a new card game or two. Thanks to all those alums that turned out, it was great to catch up.
Alumni Soccer Game:
What a beautiful day for a soccer game! More than 30 alumni turned out for our traditional Black Friday game. There were alumni of all ages and Jason King '95 wins the designation as the "oldest" alum on the field!
What a memorable evening seeing and catching up with so many alumni from classes ending in '2 or '7. Everyone gathered in the main lobby, first to have a tour of the school and attend Mass. We then had a short walk across the field, for a tour of the new building, DeGaeta Hall, followed by cocktails and dinner. Alumni young and old were truly impressed!
25th Annual Golf Classic:
Mother Nature was certainly on our side, it was a picture perfect day for our golfers! We had a record number of golfers, we sold over $35,000 in raffle tickets, corporate and hole sponsors exceeded last year's numbers, and our silent auction brought in a record amount of money.
It was nice to see so many alumni, alumni parents, and current parents at the 25th Annual Golf Classic. We appreciate all your support in making this a very successful day for OP.
