Mr. William McCrystal, Jr.

William McCrystal, Jr., a 2004 graduate of Oratory, started teaching at his alma mater in 2008. He holds a B.A. in sociology and history from the College of the Holy Cross and also a M.A in education from Seton Hall University, while being a member of Seton Hall's School of Education and Human Services' Honor Society. In 2014, he earned an advanced supervision certification from Montclair State University. He is the Academic Dean of Social Studies and English, the head varsity x-country coach, and moderates the Omega (school newspaper) and History Club. In his spare time, Mr. McCrystal plays basketball, disc golf, watches the Simpsons, and enjoys his family and friends.
