The Fed Challenge prepares high school students to compete in an annual national competition that is designed to introduce students to real-world economics. Over the course of the year, students research and prepare a fifteen minute presentation, inspired by the work of the Federal Open Market Committee. Students then present their research to a panel of economists at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Grades: 9-12
