Patrick, a Chief Master Sergeant, has to take an exam and go to a review board in January to determine if he is the phase II cadet of the year for NJ. Patrick also was accepted into the Regional Cadet Leadership School (RCLS), which is an academic leadership school in Vermont where only 30 cadets are allowed to attend. The school is recommended for Seniors but Patrick was recommended to go by one of his commanding officers. The school is at Camp Johnson, VT, for a week held over New Years' Holiday.
