This Columbus Day, the Oratory Prep Athletic Department invites boys in grades 5–8 to take part in a full day of skill-building, competition, and fun across three exciting sports: volleyball, lacrosse, and basketball. Each clinic will be led by OP’s experienced coaching staff and is open to players of all levels (unless otherwise noted).
🏐 Boys Volleyball Clinic
Start your day with volleyball at OP! This morning clinic is for boys in grades 5–8 and will focus on the fundamentals of passing, serving, and hitting. Whether you’re brand new to the sport or already playing, this is a chance to grow your skills and enjoy one of the fastest-growing sports for boys in the country.
🥍 Boys’ Lacrosse Columbus Day Camp
Led by OP Head Coach Bill McCutcheon, this afternoon lacrosse camp will challenge and inspire young players with a mix of drills, scrimmages, and team-building activities. Coach McCutcheon’s experience as a decorated player and successful high school and college coach ensures an afternoon of growth and excitement.

🏀 Boys Basketball Prospect Clinic
Join us for a high-level basketball experience designed for advanced boys in grades 5–8 who currently play on travel or AAU teams. This clinic will run like a high school practice, giving participants a glimpse into the preparation it takes to compete in the Union County Conference.
The clinic will be run by OP Head Coach Connor Daugherty, who has built a highly competitive program at Oratory, leading the Rams to multiple conference titles and sending several players on to the next level.
Expect a fast-paced afternoon of skill work, team drills, and high-level coaching—all in the spirit of OP Basketball excellence.
