Students at Oratory Prep receive an education characterized by high expectations, rigorous coursework, and a full immersion into the excitement of learning. Our demanding coursework engages, challenges, and inspires students to achieve their greatest academic potential. OP faculty members set high expectations while utilizing flexible modes of teaching to enable a collaborative process of knowledge exchange where students feel comfortable expressing ideas and are empowered to take ownership of their learning experience. With the support of our dynamic instructors, students work to articulate complex ideas, find bold solutions, and build confidence, leadership, and integrity. Preparation for college is a primary objective of the Upper School program, and the intellectual rigor and variety of opportunities available to students provide a foundation for future academic success. Courses are offered at the regular, honors, and Advanced Placement levels. As a smaller school community, OP faculty and students are able to build strong relationships through which teachers deliver tailored instruction to facilitate deeper understanding of complex topics. At Oratory Prep, faculty take a holistic approach to teaching, ensuring students become comfortable with their own identity, and that they find meaning and purpose in life through connections to the community and the world.
