Campus Ministry is an integral and vibrant part of life at Oratory. While some schools see spiritual life as an "add on" to education, Oratory integrates its faith-based values into each school day. Whether it is starting each morning off with prayer, celebrating mass together as a community, or serving our fellow brothers and sisters both locally and afar, students and faculty alike are encouraged to live out their faith every day.
There are three main components of Campus Ministry at Oratory: Masses & Liturgies, Christian Service and Retreats. Oratory celebrates mass and other types of creative liturgical services at least once a month. Our students are involved in numerous service activities within our school, our community and even abroad. Every year, each grade attends a retreat that is specially themed for that class.
Many Campus Ministry activities are peer-led by students. Our Campus Ministry Team, which consists of Junior and Senior leaders, serves at Masses, plans and facilitates class retreats, and is involved in all aspect of our community’s spiritual life. Our Worship Ministry Team provides music for all of our masses and liturgies. The Saint Philip Neri club, based on our patron saint, keeps his spirit alive through joy and service in our community.
