The Digital Art and Photography Club meets weekly in OP’s state-of-the-art iMac lab. The club is for students interested in exploring creative techniques in the areas of graphic art and photography. Members are able to enjoy creating art/photographs using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Lightroom. Students have access to open studio time for experimentation or to work on class assignments.
Lab photography equipment is available for member use, along with an opportunity to collaborate with other OP media/publications in need of visual art/photos. Active membership qualifies toward student applications to the National Art Honor Society. The club also features open discussions about photography and graphic design, opportunities to participate in art exhibitions, field trips, design contests and community service. We welcome students of any ability - only an interest in the visual arts is needed.
