Chris McNiff Hits 100th Point in Just 2 Seasons

Oratory Senior Chris McNiff has blown through his 100th point in his two-season career with Rams Lacrosse. His milestone accomplishment was reached earlier this month when the team suffered a hard-fought loss to Middletown South, despite Chris chipping in 4 goals and 1 assist that day. The fact he was a Junior year transfer makes Chris’ accomplishment that much more notable. Chris ended the season with 45 goals and 23 total assists, reaching 116 points over his career.

McNiff, a standout player on the Oratory Prep varsity lacrosse team, reached this remarkable milestone during the recent game against Middletown South. With his unwavering commitment and relentless pursuit of excellence, McNiff has been an instrumental force in the team's success throughout the season.

Beyond his athletic accomplishments, McNiff exemplifies the qualities of a true student-athlete. He has excelled academically, balancing his commitment to lacrosse with his studies, and has been an exemplary role model in the Oratory Prep community. Outside of OP, Chris is a volunteer with St. Patrick’s Youth Ministry and has previously volunteered with Play Unified of Chatham.

Chris expresses gratitude for his teammates, coaches, and family, saying, "It was awesome to reach this milestone but I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my family, teammates, and coaches constantly pushing me to get better."

As McNiff goes on to college this fall, the OP community anticipates further success and achievements in his future endeavors.
