Nowacki Earns Rank of Eagle Scout

Joseph Nowacki, senior at Oratory Prep and Boy Scout in Troop 118 in Denville, has completed all requirements and passed his Eagle Board of Review, earning the rank of Eagle Scout on March 27th. A formal Eagle Court of Honor will be held in June.

Model UN Participates in Second Conference

OP Model UN Club had a successful second conference at St. Peter's University on Monday, March 12th. The team had a strong showing, capped off by Jack Mogen and Jack Anderson being named "Honorable Mention Delegation" in their committee.

Summer Academy Registration Now Open

The Oratory Prep Summer Academy offers educational, athletic, and recreational programs for boys and girls, grades 5-12. All camps and courses run weekdays throughout July and August. Both Oratory staff and local, reputable organizations will team up to present athletic camps such as lacrosse and basketball. Christopher Rose '17 Named National Merit Finalist

Oratory Prep is proud to announce that Senior Christopher Rose has been named a Finalist in the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Competition. It started with a test in the fall of 2015. Now, Chris Rose, a senior at Oratory Preparatory School, has advanced to the finalist level of the National Merit Scholarship Competition. The National Merit Scholarship Program, or NMSP is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. Each year, approximately 1.5 million students take a qualifying test early in their junior year. Through a continued testing process, that number is eventually narrowed down to 15,000 finalists. As a finalist, Rose is eligible to win a National Merit Scholarship, which will be announced between April and July.
