He went to staff meetings at the offices of New Jersey Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker to ask them for support of the FASTER Act (H.R. 2117) which stands for Food Allergy Safety, Treatment, Education and Research. He also thanked House Representative Mikie Sherrill of New Jersey District 11 for being one of the co-sponsors of the bill. This proposed legislation would establish additional funding for research into the true impact of food allergies, support the development of new treatments and therapies, and recognize sesame as the ninth top allergen among others.
