As a result, Andrew was awarded the “highest honors” grade in each of the 5 subjects, based on these tests, and also his grades from each of the 12 years. Special graduation ceremonies were held on June 1 in Yonkers, NY. There were only 132 American Ukrainian students in all of the US that passed these rigorous tests. Andrew will be sitting later this month for the NYU Ukrainian language proficiency test.

Andrew is also an altar boy at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, an international scout, and a Ukrainian dancer.
