Two middle school boys displaying rockets made in their STEAM programPart of the OP Middle School experience is participation in a robust STEAM program. Each of the disciplines within STEAM has something to offer to every student. Students are able to answer complex questions, investigate global issues, and develop solutions for challenges and real-world problems through the lens of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. Students become logical thinkers who are technologically, scientifically, and mathematically literate.

In class, students analyze current trends and critical issues in STEAM both locally and globally in connection to social responsibilities. They engage in opportunities to communicate a position on a topic in a meaningful and purposeful way that respects the positions of others.
