Netclassroom is Oratory Prep's secure online portal for students and parents to access academic information including class schedules, assignments, and grades. Each student and parent has their own unique user ID and password. Parents see the same exact view as the students.

Getting Started

You may access Netclassroom by clicking on the following link or entering the URL into the address bar of your web browser:

Enter in the credentials that were emailed to you by Oratory Prep's IT department. If you did not receive this information, please contact Mr. Yoo.

Customizing your Home page

To change the appearance of your Home page, go to My settings in the navigation bar, and click on Customize home. You can customize the following options.
  • Change the marking period from which to show the latest grade averages.
  • Show or hide class announcements.
  • Show or hide the latest graded assignments. You may pick a timeframe for this option.
  • Show or hide the class schedule. You may pick a timeframe for this option.
  • Show or hide assignments. You may enter in a number for how many days in advance you would like to view assignments. We recommend increasing this number.

Navigating Netclassroom


  • Class Details - In View, select a class from the dropdown. Be sure the correct marking column is selected as well. Here you can view announcements, documents, assignments, and grades for each class.
  • Assignments List - You may need to click on the class name to expand the list of assignments for the class. If you'd like to change the view, use the filters on the left hand side to change the criteria. You can also clear the Class field to view all classes at once.
  • Assignments Calendar - Here you can view assignments in a daily, weekly, or monthly calendar format.
  • Attendance - Details about any absences and/or tardies can be viewed here.


  • Graded Student Work - For each class, you can see the breakdown of grades for each class by category. You can change the class that is displayed using the guide on the left.
  • Averages - This section is useful for seeing a report card view of grade averages for all classes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I see assignment grades?

You can view assignment grades on the Daily Grades page. You can open the Daily Grades page two ways:

  • On the Grades page, click the check mark picture link in the cell for the marking column and class.
  • On the Assignments page, click the check mark picture link to the left of a class name.

On the Assignments page, I cannot view all of the assignment details. How can I view all of the details?

If you cannot see all of the details for an assignment (including class ID, course name, category, assignment name, and description) when viewing assignments by week or month, select to view assignments by day instead.

How do I contact a teacher from Oratory Prep's NetClassroom?

To open the Faculty Information page, click a teacher's name on a page. From the Faculty Information page, you can click the email address link to send an email to the faculty member.

How do I change my NetClassroom password?

From the top navigation bar, under My settings, click Change password. Enter your current password in the Old Password field. Enter your new password in the New Password and Verify Password fields. Your password can be a maximum of 20 characters and is not case-sensitive. We recommend you select a password that is difficult for others to guess. For safe, secure passwords, follow these guidelines:

Do not include:
  • A family name in any form (first, middle, last, maiden, spelled backwards, nickname, or initials).
  • Any part of your user ID.
  • Any common name, such as dog.
  • A phone or office number, address, birthday, or anniversary.

How do I install the check mark font used to display assignment grades, report cards, and transcripts?

If your system is Windows:
  1. Go to the Daily Grades, Report Card, or Transcript page.
  2. Click the Font Download link found on the navigation bar. The File Download screen appears.
  3. Click Save. Save the executable file blackbaudfont.exe to your Desktop.
  4. The Download complete screen appears. Click Close.
  5. From your Desktop, open blackbaudfont.exe. The WinZip Self-Extractor screen appears.
  6. Click Unzip. The self-extraction program places the fonts in your C:\Windows\Fonts directory. A message appears when the files are unzipped successfully.
  7. Click OK to return to the WinZip Self-Extractor screen.
  8. Click Close.
  9. On your Windows taskbar, click Start. Select Settings, Control Panel.
  10. Right-click the Fonts folder and select Open. Opening the Fonts window initializes the font on your computer.
  11. In the Fonts window, verify that the check mark font files, Blackbaud Screen (BBSCREEN.TTF), Blackbaud Report (BBREPORT.TTF), and Blackbaud Web (BBWEB.TTF), are present.
If your system is Macintosh (OS X):
  1. Go to the Daily Grades, Report Card, or Transcript page.
  2. Click the Font Download link found on the navigation bar.
  3. Chose to open the file using the default selected program or save to it to disk.
  4. Open Finder and navigate to the zip file if saved to disk.
  5. Open the zip file and a Blackbaud Font folder will be created.
  6. Open this folder and highlight the three files.
  7. Select the Edit menu and Copy the three items.
  8. In Finder, select the Administrator folder under Places.
  9. In your Administrator Folder, open the Library folder.
  10. In your Library Folder, open the Fonts folder.
  11. Paste the three fonts into the Fonts folder by selecting the Edit/Paste menu item.
