The National Art Honor Society and The National Junior Art Honor Society are nationally recognized programs of the National Art Education Association. They recognize students who exhibit the highest standards in the visual arts by their leadership roles in bringing art education to the attention of their schools and communities.
The purpose of the NAHS/NJAHS Michelangelo Chapter is to inspire and recognize those students who have shown outstanding ability in art and foster excellence.
Membership will be based upon art scholarship, service and character. Members will participate in: art club, art exhibits, trips to museums and volunteer locally and participating in community service projects.
Grades: NJAHS grades 7-9, NAHS grades 10-12. Applications will be posted in September of each school year and are due each January.
