Ms. Dana Sullivan

Ms. Sullivan joined Oratory in 2021 and currently serves as the school nurse for the Oratory Community. Prior to her nursing career, she attended Boston College and earned her BA in Literature, with a concentration in the English Romantic period. After college, she stayed in Massachusetts for over 15 years and did a lot of cross country skiing in New Hampshire and Vermont, while also working in a variety of employment positions. While in Boston, she worked as a personal assistant to a screenwriter in Concord, MA, and she also worked in varied administrative positions at Fidelity Investments as a temporary worker in downtown Boston. She also worked for Community Newspaper Company as an apprentice editor, as well as writing the nightly police blotters and obituaries. She also worked for a local private investigator and a national cargo insurance company.

Ms. Sullivan decided to become a nurse around 2001, so she worked at Morristown Medical Center for two years as a nurse assistant in both cardiology and oncology, and later went on to earn her RN. She attended College of Saint Elizabeth for her BS in Nursing, and graduated with honors. Prior to Oratory, she worked in nursing facilities as a floor nurse for about 6 years, and she also worked in hospice as a case manager for over 5 years. She feels honored to take care of the students at Oratory, and to be a part of the Oratory community. In her free time, she enjoys time with her teenage daughter, Sophie, and her two wild and unruly rescue dogs, LadyBear and LittleFawn. She enjoys power yoga, watching vloggers like Jonna Jinton, The Cottage Fairy and Isabel Paige on YouTube, and spending time in her garden.
