Technology at Oratory

Oratory is a school with cutting edge technology. Each faculty member is equipped with a laptop and the software tools needed to keep grades in order while keeping parents up to date.

Students have the experience of learning in a media rich classroom. Whether it's watching a clip from the internet that connects with course curriculum or engaging students via our SmartBoard technology, Oratory offers the finest environment for technological learning.  Wireless networks are available throughout the Bain Academic Building and Newman Hall. 

With students having personal laptops, they are always informed on current class activities, homework assignments and grades. Some courses feature textbooks that are on CD Rom and are used for entire class periods.  Other courses afford students the opportunity to take a quiz online.  Many of our mathematics courses synchronize graphing calculators with the SmartBoard.

All these technologies work together to keep Oratory students moving forward to their adult lives where, technology will be used on an increasingly day to day basis. It's another reason why Oratory is a great place to learn in order to make a difference in the world.
