OPTIONAL TRIP
For the fourth consecutive year, OP is planning an optional trip for
students in grades 7-9. This year, we will be visiting the Boston, MA
area. The dates for the trip are April 28-May 1, 2011. Students going
on the trip will attend school that Thurs. April 28th, and then depart
for Boston in the afternoon. We will return to OP on Sunday, May 1st.
Students will miss one full day of school, but will have plenty of
advanced notice to gather their assignments from their teachers.
The intinerary will most likely include stops in Lexington, Concord,
Cambridge, Boston, and Plymouth. The trip details, including pricing,
will be announced in September. Deposits will be due, most likely in
late September or October.

-Lexington/Concord: Walking and driving tours of battlefields and
visits to museums, American Revolution movie, and more
-Cambridge: Walking tour of Cambridge and Harvard University
-Boston: tours of U.S.S. Constitution, Freedom Trail, Prudential
Observation Deck, Quincy Market, Faniuel Hall, Old North Church,
Holocaust Memorial, Aquarium, IMAX movie, various museums, and more
-Plymouth: tour Mayflower replica ship, tour Plymouth Village,
authentic Thanksgiving meal, and more
