Mr. Robert Costello

Robert Costello, the former President of DePaul Catholic High School in Wayne, has over 30 years of experience in Catholic school education. Prior to his role as President, which is equivalent to the Head of School, Mr. Costello served DePaul as Director of Development and Enrollment. In his eight years at DePaul, he helped the school grow in size and stature while attracting substantial private capital to help fund the expansion of the school’s infrastructure, faculty and academic curriculum. Mr. Costello also held a number of senior administrative assignments with Caldwell College, where he was Vice President for Enrollment Management, and previously, Director of Recruitment and Assistant Director of Admissions. Under his direction, the college enrolled its largest freshman classes in school history, improved retention rates and stabilized its financial aid and scholarship programs. A lifelong resident of New Jersey, Mr. Costello received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Caldwell College. Mr. Costello, his wife, Evelyn, and their children Shannon, Robert, Logan, Kellen, and Cameron live in Morristown and are active parishioners of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
