Our school prides itself on being a family and a strong community. Oratory students are encouraged to become involved in our school community by participating in our numerous clubs, organizations, and activities. Oratory Prep is firmly committed to providing a complete and rewarding experience for our student body. This is done in part, by offering an array of extra-curricular offerings, assemblies, and special programs that are tailored to their specific interests.
We offer over two dozen clubs and organizations for our students. Some of these clubs and organizations are more recreational or social in nature, while others are academic clubs. Our social clubs are geared towards our students who are looking to make new friends, while at the same time, enjoying some of their favorite activities. Our academic clubs regularly compete, and fare well, in local and statewide competitions.
We regularly sponsor events at our school to enrich the OP experience for our students. Nationally acclaimed authors and speakers have graced our gymnasium several times in recent years. Comedians, musicians, and magicians have entertained many audiences. Additionally, the Student Council sponsors multiple dances, sports tournaments, and our always phenomenal Spirit Week. All of these events ensure that our students have fun, foster friendships, and see and hear people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
Oratory integrates its Catholic heritage and faith-based values into each day at school. Our students regularly have opportunities to be young men of faith, character, and action. It is vital that the young men of Oratory Prep are engaged in activities and organizations at the school. We encourage this because involvement in extra-curricular activities will allow students to grow into well rounded students and to experience all that OP truly has to offer. Students should not hesitate to be a part of our vibrant school community to see what the complete OP experience is all about.
