The Oratory Prep School junior made his decision primarily because of head coach Jim Kubinski and assistant coach Scott Gump.
"They see my potential and valued my playing abilities extremely highly, which is crucial to me, and I feel that they have the guidance to help take my game to the next level," Felitto said. "In addition, the academics at Notre Dame are some of the best in the world, which is extremely important to me."
He qualified and competed in both the 2014 U.S. Junior Amateur and Junior PGA Championship. He earned top 10s in 2014 at the AJGA's Greg Norman Academy Championship, Morgan Hoffmann Junior and the Philly Runner Junior.
